Creative Discovery STEAM and Crafts

The children will use all new discovery materials to experiment and investigate. They will strengthen their planning and problem-solving skills when they engineer objects, and craft materials to create art. Some of the new projects will be: a balancing sticks challenge while working in pairs, LEGOS (free exploration and with task cards), construction using magnets, building a marble run, and even creating snow. The children will also experiment with clay, and will take the clay home at the end of the session.
The class is taught by Elaine Friedman, retired Castlebay Lane kindergarten teacher.
