TK & Kinder Learning Games
Children will use academic games to review and enrich alphabet and number recognition, letter and number sequencing and phonemic awareness (rhyming, and hearing and manipulating letter sounds). They will do puzzles which teach problem-solving skills and teach children to distinguish likenesses and differences in letters, a skill which is essential in beginning reading. These are taught in a relaxed atmosphere so that the children feel very successful completing tasks at their own pace. They work both alone and in pairs which improves their social skills and helps them gain confidence. The class is for TK and Kindergarten students only, and is taught by Elaine Friedman, retired Castlebay Kindergarten teacher. Info: email@example.com
